Ferry To Port Gamble 
 

We hopped on the ferry and took an end of summer daytrip to Port Gamble. The sandwiches at the General Store was one of the best I ever had. That's saying a lot for this less-than foodie state. Haha!

The Port Gamble Historic District is a U.S. Historic Landmarks, and  covers one of the nation's best-preserved western lumber towns.

 

Its a really lovely little spot to stop and visit.
